"If I Don't Go, I Don't Get"

There’s an interesting sign inside a very popular car wash and coffee shop business here in El Paso that carries not only an application for us in the secular world, but in the spiritual world as well.

The words of the sign read:

“If I Don’t Go, I Don’t Get”

The idea behind these words, is that if the owners don’t have the motivation or ambition to “go” to work and wash some cars on any given day, they won’t “get” the reward that a daily living brings.

The same idea holds true in the spiritual realm. As Christians, if we don’t “go” and “teach all nations” the saving gospel of Christ to those lost in sin (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16) we‘re not going to “get” the reward the Lord generously offers us in return for our labor (1 Corinthians 15:58; Revelation 2:10; cf. 1 Peter 1:4).

Dear reader, every morning when we awake, let’s remember the words of the above sign, and then "GO."
