How Far Down The Morality Scale?

As I looked at this article this afternoon regarding Jennifer Lopez' "sexy show" in Morocco, I thought about how far down the morality scale our society has fallen.

The beginning of the article reads:

The sexually-charged show offered over the weekend by pop diva Jennifer Lopez at the Mawazine music festival in Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, disgusted Islamist members of the ruling Justice and Development Party. The communications minister calling the broadcast on public television "unacceptable."

Many eyebrows were obviously raised when Ms. Lopez performed on stage in scantily clad costumes.

Sadly, in our present-day "anything goes" society, no eyebrows would be raised at all.

How far down the morality scale have we come?

When even Islamist leaders call such a broadcast on public television, "unacceptable" — we know that "We've come a long way, baby."
