From the Fox News Opinion section, comes this article by writer Todd Starnes, regarding the beginning of the Christian purge in our nation. From this article, we learn that chaplains can no longer teach or preach that homosexuality is a sin or deviant behavior.
Here's a quote from the above article:
The Kentucky regulation clearly states that volunteers working with juveniles “shall not refer to juveniles by using derogatory language in a manner that conveys bias towards or hatred of the LGBTQI community. DJJ staff, volunteers, interns and contractors shall not imply or tell LGBTQI juveniles that they are abnormal, deviant, sinful or that they can or should change their sexual orientation or gender identity.”
Beloved, Christians have known for some time that we would persecuted for upholding the truth found in God's word (Matthew 5:10) regarding the sin of homosexuality (or any other sin that God has condemned for that matter).
The last question posed in Todd Starnes' article is this: "Will you follow God or the government?"
The inspired apostle Peter and the rest of the apostles didn't hesitate in their answer:
"But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29).
