Honoring Our Father And Mother Every Day

Reflecting on Mother's Day yesterday, I thought, wouldn't it be great to honor your mother and your father every day — not just one designated day per year.

Beloved, there's a way we can do that, and that is to live godly lives before our own children every day, providing them, not only a godly example, but a lasting legacy of a good name.

And one last thought, even though our parents may have already passed on to be with the Lord, we can still honor them, even in death by our godly life, and in so doing, bring honor and glory to God (Matthew 5:14-16 NET).
