Let's "Be A Book"

Have we ever wanted to write a book? It's certainly a worthy goal, but it's far better to "be a book" than it is to write one.

The apostle Paul believed it was better to "be a book" when he penned the following inspired words:
"Clearly you are an epistle of Christ ..... written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart" (2 Corinthians 3:3; cf. Psalm 37:31; Psalm 40:8; Hebrews 8:10).
The work that Christ is doing in us as Christians, can result in a godly influence far greater than any book we might write (cf. Romans 1:8; 2 Corinthians 8; Philippians 3:17; 1 Thessalonians 1;2 Thessalonians 3:7-9).

By having God's word written "on our hearts" (Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 10:15-16), the Lord is displaying His love, mercy forgiveness, and goodness to every person we interact with every day of our lives.

As a Christian, we may never write a book or have a book published, but by living as Christ lived (Gal. 2:20; cf. Acts 10:38; 1 Peter 2:18-22; 1 John 2:3-6), we will "be a book."

Dear reader, let's "be a book"; an "epistle of Christ" for all to read!
