On page 9 and page 19 of the July-September, 2010 issue of the Magnolia Messenger, is the above titled article (has since been removed), written by brother Dave Verret, who now resides in Mililani, Hawaii. Brother Alfred Franks (see page 2 by clicking on the above link), editor of the Magnolia Messenger, writes the following note in preface to the article:
“The following article is excellent; it is scriptural and well-written. It was sent to us by its author who, several years ago, lived and ministered in Lake Charles, Louisiana …. His thought-provoking article is disturbing; yet, very timely, its central message — God is still in control, is greatly needed. Please read brother Dave’s thoughts with prayer.”
I have personally read brother Verret’s article and fully concur with brother Franks’ above assessment of the article‘s content. No matter what happens to America and its people in the future, God is still in complete control (Daniel 2:20-21; Daniel 4:17,25,32; Daniel 5:21).
