Let's Leave All Vengeance To God!

In February, 2010, Fox News published an article about a man by the name of Joseph Stack from Austin, Texas, who flew his small aircraft into the IRS building in Austin, because of conflicts he had with the IRS (here is his suicide note).

Mr. Stack reportedly said, “Violence is the only answer.”

The problem with that thinking, is that God doesn’t condone this vigilante “brand” of violence. Mr. Stack should have followed the advice and instructions the apostle Paul provided in Romans 12:19-21.

Dear reader, let's leave all “vengeance” to God, for He alone knows the true motives of the heart, and thus is able to render true justice in a matter (Psalm 139:1-4; cf. Matthew 9:4; John 2:24).
