Do We Fear Death? Why?

This Lord's Day morning, I presented a much needed and encouraging lesson to the Montana Street congregation on why we as Christians need not fear death. Most of the material for the lesson was taken from an excellent article by brother Wayne Jackson entitled, "The Terror Of Death: Causes and Cures."

In his article, brother Jackson talks about the fact that we will one day pass from this earthly existence (Hebrews 9:27), but we need not be afraid of this certain event, if we are "in Christ" (Romans 8:1).

Dear reader, are you "in Christ"?

The last three pages of Bro. Jackson's well-written article, explains "how" (along with pertinent Scriptures) we transition ourselves into an "in Christ" relationship.

I wholeheartedly recommend that you print out brother Jackson's good article, study the Scripture references presented with an open Bible (2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:11), and then willingly act upon what those inspired Scriptures convict you to do.

May God richly bless you as you obey "from the heart" the inspired instructions contained in the holy Scriptures (Romans 6:16-17).
