A minute is the time it takes to smile, or to give a warm “hello” to those with whom we come in contact with each day.
A minute is the amount of time it takes to compliment someone, by saying “Well done.”
A minute is the time it takes to sympathize (or empathize) with someone who has lost a loved one.
A minute is the time it takes to give someone an encouraging word of cheer.
A minute is the time it takes to call someone who is homebound because of an infirmity or illness.
How much is a minute worth?
It’s priceless or worthless — depending on how we use that minute.
Each day there are 1,440 minutes that God has allotted to each one of us.
How are we using these minutes — for fulfilling our own selfish desires, or for God’s glory? (Isaiah 43:7; cf. Matthew 5:14-16).
