The Internet Journal Of Family Practice (scroll down to “Introduction” heading) noted that a recent study of more than 2,000 deaths in a national cohort of approximately 21,000 people, followed for nine years (1987-1997), found that persons who never attended religious services had a mortality risk 87% higher than those attending more than weekly.
A survey entitled, “Religious Involvement and US Adult Mortality,” reports the following:
As the above Scriptures and data attest, worshiping God is not only the right thing to do, it’s also the healthy thing to do.

A survey entitled, “Religious Involvement and US Adult Mortality,” reports the following:
"People who never attend exhibit 1.87 times the risk of death in the follow-up period compared with people who attend more than once a week. This translates into a seven-year difference in life expectancy at age 20 between those who never attend and those who attend more than once a week."What do these studies and surveys tell us? That worship is not only good for us spiritually speaking, but physically speaking as well (Proverbs 3:1-2,7-8; cf. 1 Timothy 4:8; Psalm 37:4-5).
As the above Scriptures and data attest, worshiping God is not only the right thing to do, it’s also the healthy thing to do.
