The story is told of a young boy who one day proudly announced to his father, “I know what the Bible stands for!” His father smiled and replied, “What do you mean you know what it stands for?” The son replied, “But I do know!” “So son, what does the Bible stand for?” “That’s easy, Dad. It stands for:

Basic
Instructions
Before
Leaving
Earth

Truly, out of the mouths of babes come words of wisdom! The Bible is our only effective guide book on how to live while here on earth in preparation to enter that eternal home that awaits all the faithful (Colossians 1:1-5; 1 Peter 1:3-4; Revelation 2:10).

Dear reader, let us please be willing to "read" (Acts 8:28), "believe" (Acts 8:37, and "obey" (Acts 8:38-39) the “Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth” – the inspired BIBLE (2 Timothy 3:16).
