On Wives, Husbands, Daughters, And Commitment

Sister Cindy Colley has written another thought-provoking article in three parts, that addresses wives, husbands, daughters, and commitment: Part 1; Part 2; Part 3.

Part 1 deals with the role of women in the home; their commitment and being submissive to their husbands.

Part 2 deals with women providing the right examples for their husbands and children by closely following the "Golden Rule" of scripture (Matthew 7:11-12), which includes financial matters that concern the home.

Part 3 deals with wives being a godly role model for their family, especially their daughters; prayer playing a large part of a spiritually productive and successful family.

All of the thoughts presented by sister Colley in the above article, have to do with the delegated authority of God. Following God's delegated authority regarding the role of women and the role of men in the home, as well as the rearing of children, will go a long way in producing a godly home environment.
