A Lack Of Repentance

Repentance is a change of heart resulting in a change of mind or mindset (Jonah 3). Even though we know we have sinned beyond any doubt, how difficult it is for us to change because our pride is at stake. But pride is the territory of small children. As we grow older, we should overcome our stubbornness, our outrageous ego, and our desire to have to always be first, right or biggest!

We stop growing spiritually until we can sincerely say, “I am sorry — I was wrong. I will change my thinking, my attitude and my actions.

Beloved, a lack of repentance separates us from our friends, but worse than that, it separates us from God (Luke 13:3,5).

Let’s think about the above thoughts this week and make any necessary adjustments in our attitude and thinking (2 Corinthians 10:3-5; Philippians 4:8-9).
