While skimming through the Internet a few days ago, I found this very soul-refreshing site entitled, "Tomorrow's Church, Today," (site has since been removed) ran and promoted by teens around our country who are members of the Lord's church. There are several teens who have written Bible based articles relative to the topic of "modesty" (as well as other topics).
I was especially impressed with the following article written by Kasey Vasquez entitled, "Modesty: Both Inner And Outer," where she emphasizes the inner modesty of the heart, which includes our speech and behavior. She then emphasizes the importance of outer modesty, which includes our dress and communication.
Kasey concludes her good article by saying: "We can obtain modesty by having the mindset of Jesus Christ in Philippians 2:5-8. Let's clothe ourselves with knowledge, not for lust of the eyes. Modesty is not something to be ashamed of. It is strength, not a weakness. Modesty with class and elegance, modesty is always beautiful."
To which I can only add my hearty "Amen and Amen!"
