"A Life Is Like A Garden"

Leonard Nimoy, my favorite Star Trek character, who portrayed the logical, pointy-eared Mr. Spock, passed from this earthly existence on February 27 at age 83.

His final tweet from Monday, February 23, was exceptionally poignant:

"A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory." 

Dear reader, if we will properly plant and cultivate our life's garden with these characteristics, plus the character qualities we find in 2 Peter 1:5-8, we will not only preserve our perfect moments "in memory" as Mr. Nimoy stated, but for all eternity (2 Peter 1:10-11).
