The following statements from an unknown author, present to us a portrait in words, descriptive of Christians who desire to win others to Christ:- Their EARS are open to the cries for help from a lost and dying world (Acts 16:9).
- Their EYES are ever searching for a receptive heart in which to plant the word of God (Acts 16:13-15).
- Their LIPS are always ready and willing to proclaim the glory of God (Acts 7).
- Their HANDS are always turning the pages of God’s Holy Word, seeking His will for them (Acts 17:11).
- Their FEET are on the move to carry out the words of Christ to preach the Gospel to every creature (Acts 8:4).
- Their HEARTS are beating and breaking with the urgency to reach the lost before it’s too late (Acts 16:10).
- Their HEADS are bowed in prayer to the Father in heaven, to give them wisdom to carry out the mission (Acts 20:28-38).
- Their FACES glow with the hope that is in them (Colossians 1:21-27).
- Their LIVES are like the light of a city "set upon a hill that cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14; cf. Ephesians 5:6-8; Philippians 2:14-15).
- They are "the LIGHT of the world." In Christ they "live, and move, and have their being" (Matthew 5:14-16; Acts 17:24-28).
