"No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper"

After reading this article, this writer has come to the conclusion that our society has obviously stepped into the quicksand of paranoia and political correctness.

The passage in question is Isaiah 54:17 which states:

"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord."

The context in Isaiah 54 is talking about the Lord's church (note vs. 5) and how God will protect her from all enemies whose intent it is to destroy her.

The verse in question has absolutely nothing to do with anything "contrary to good order and discipline" as stated in the above article.

May justice be served in this case, involving this young marine whose only "crime" was the posting of an encouraging passage of Scripture from God's inspired word on her computer.

What is our country coming to when God's word suddenly becomes a "threat" to good order and discipline?
