Where Did Common Sense Go?

While shopping for my weekly groceries today, I noticed a sign in the entrance way of the grocery store which stated, "When it rains, please be careful, as the floors may be slick." Along the freeway, is another sign with this statement, "When it rains, please be careful, as the roadway may be slick."

And of course, we all know about coffee shops having to put the following label on their coffee cups because some folks have severely burned themselves after spilling a cup of hot coffee on themselves: "Caution, contents may be hot!"

I'm wondering, where in the world did common sense go?

And then I remembered — our society buried him several years ago!

Despite all of the above negativity, let's thank the Lord for another day, and go hug someone!
