“It came to pass that a man went to market with a string of seven coins, and when he saw a beggar in great need who asked for alms, he gave him six of the seven coins, keeping only one for himself. Instead of being grateful, the beggar followed the good man and stole the seventh coin also.”
We say, “What an abominable wretch! How selfish an individual!” And yet, let us consider ourselves (Psalm 50:22-23). If God has graciously given us six days, will we steal the seventh day, not worshiping and glorifying Him?
Will we rob God?
Where do we plan on being this coming Lord’s Day? Will we use the day for God or for self? (Hebrews 10:23-25).
Beloved, it's something to seriously think about!
