Want A Recipe For Life?

My grandmother kept quite a few recipes, and at her death, I inherited them. As I was going through
them one day, I found the following unique recipe called “Recipe For Life” (I’ve added appropriate Scriptures to the ingredients).

The ingredients are as follows:

1) 1 cup of Good Thoughts (Philippians 4:8).
2) 1 cup of Kind Deeds (Matthew 7:12).
3) 1 cup of Consideration for Others (Romans 12:10,13; Philippians 2:3).
4) 2 cups of Sacrifices for Others (2 Corinthians 8:1-5; cf. Acts 2:44-45; Acts 4:32-35).
5) 3 cups of Forgiveness (Colossians 3:13; cf. Matthew 18:21-22).
6) 2 cups of Well Beaten Faults (1 Timothy 1:15)

Mix these ingredients thoroughly and add Tears Of Joy, Sorrow and Sympathy for others (Romans 12:15). Flavor with little gifts of Love and Kindly Service (Luke 10:33-35).

Fold in 4 cups of Prayer and Faith (Ephesians 6:16-18) to lighten the other ingredients, and to raise the texture to great heights of Christian Living (Philippians 3:12-15; cf. 2 Timothy 4:6-8).

After pouring all of this into Daily Life (John 10:10), bake well with the Heat of Human Kindness (Ephesians 4:32), then Serve with a Smile (Job 29:24 AMP).

Beloved, may we consider making the above recipe quite often, not just at certain times of the year, for this recipe contains the ingredients for life. When added to our lives, the texture these ingredients produce, will not only help us, but will help others as they face the problems and burdens that life and daily living produce.
