The Power Of Hate

Brother Michael Brooks, one of the writers for Forthright Magazine, has written an above titled article, in which he emphasizes some of the characteristics of hate:

"Hatred is not a virtue – it is never good and does not produce blessing – not to anyone, ever. Hatred often destroys its object. Left unchecked it will always destroy its possessor.  Notice Paul’s language, “hateful and hating one another.” Those who hate will themselves become worthy of being hated. That does not justify or excuse our hating them, but it describes their pitiable state."

Brother Brooks' above statements reminds me of what the apostle Paul stated in Galations 5:15:

"If you go on hurting each other and tearing each other apart, be careful, or you will completely destroy each other" (NCV).

Beloved, with all of the hatred that we have witnessed in the news lately, no outside entity will ever destroy America, for we have far more than enough hatred within our own shores, which left unchecked, will eventually destroy our nation from within (see here).
