Since mankind has been created in God's image (Genesis 1:26-27), we possess similar characteristics. One of those characteristics being the ability to love God and to love others (Matthew 22:36-40). Thus God is a romantic at heart (see definition #4-6).
God's love for mankind knows no limitations (John 3:16-17; Romans 5:6-11; Romans 8:35-39; cf. Deuteronomy 32:7-12; Matthew 23:37) and only wants what's best for each one of us (Deuteronomy 4:29-40; Deuteronomy 6:24-25; Deuteronomy 10:12-15).
Artists from all over the world have emphasized and illustrated what it is to be a romantic in their paintings and music. The following are examples of such, emphasizing and illustrating the words "love"; "romance"; or "romantic":
1) Paintings — See here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
2) Music — See here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.
Both paintings and music here.
Beloved, let us praise God, the Romantic!
