Regarding staying the course in any area of life, Mr. Hyatt makes the following four important points:
1) There is a distinction between a dream and the work required to obtain it.
2) Everything important requires w-o-r-k — hard work.
3) Whatever we are trying to accomplish that requires a level of difficulty, we need to ask ourselves this question: "Why am I doing this hard thing that I am doing?" Then connect ourselves to our original dream or vision, helping us to keep going when things get tough.
4) The bottom line is (quoting Mr. Hyatt): "We learn the best lessons when we don’t quit. This is when our character is transformed and good things happen."
