In 2 Timothy 2:1, Paul tells Timothy regarding grace: “You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.”
Looking at 2 Timothy 2:10, Paul tells Timothy regarding salvation: “Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”
It’s interesting to note from these two verses that grace is found “in Christ Jesus” and salvation is also found “in Christ Jesus.”
The obvious question then becomes: How does one get “in Christ Jesus” in order to acquire both grace and salvation?
Answer: When an individual is baptized “into Christ” (Galations 3:27; Romans 6:3).
