"The Tragedy Of Modern Times"

I like what Ramnath Subramanian recently wrote in the El Paso Times about the society and culture of our day and time (see here):

"The tragedy of modern times is that we have allowed a great corruption to dismantle the old architecture; to throw the old marble out and replace it with cheap tile."
