While walking down to our local Dollar General Store this morning, I saw a sign on a neighborhood fire station building which read: "Safe Place".
My question is, "Is there really such a place as a "Safe Place" in our extremely volatile world of murder, mayhem, and madness?
The only place this writer knows that can be considered a truly "Safe Place", comes from the lyrics of this old sacred hymn written by Fanny Crosby (see video). Beloved, only when we are in the loving arms of Jesus, are we truly in a "Safe Place".
The question is, "how" do we get into the loving arms of Jesus? Answer: By putting on our Lord in baptism (1 Peter 3:21; Galations 3:26-28).
