On Christianity Upsetting The Apple Cart

A querist once asked, "In what way does Christianity upset the apple cart?" Christianity upsets the apple cart when it upsets the “norm” or “status quo” of a society, as we find in Acts 16:16-24; Acts 17:1-9.

As in the first century, may the Lord’s church remain undaunted by the “norm” or “status quo” of our society today by:

Holding fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound [healthy] doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict” (Titus 1:9).
