Fulfilled Prophecies Of Christ -- What Are The Odds?

In Deuteronomy 18:21-22 NASB, the text reads, “And you may say in your heart, ‘How shall we know the word which the Lord has not spoken?’ When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken.

In the above passage of scripture, we can understand the simple criteria for determining the validity of a prophet and the trustworthiness of his message originating from the mouth of the Lord. Through a study of the scriptures, we learn that prophecies of true prophets always came to pass.

There are over three hundred prophecies concerning the Messiah within the pages of scripture that have come to pass. We might ask ourselves, “what are the odds of even a small portion of these Messianic prophecies ever coming to pass (or being fulfilled)?”
