A querist asks, “Does Matthew 18:10 teach the concept of guardian angels? Matthew 18:10 KJV states: “Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.“The word “guardian” is not present in the above verse, nor is the term mentioned at all in the King James version of the Bible, nor is the term mentioned in any other Bible version, therefore, I conclude that the concept of a “guardian angel” stems from the vivid imagination of the mind of man — not from the mind of God.
