"Don't Confuse Me With The Facts!"

From what this writer has observed over the past ten to twenty years, the mantra of our society in general is this: "Don't confuse me with the facts!" (source).

Because some folks are no longer interested in the facts, they had rather believe in "fake news" (how to spot it and how to stop it) ..... because fake news often employs eye-catching headlines or entirely fabricated news stories to increase readership, online sharing, and Internet click revenue (see here).

Unlike fake news, the gospel of Christ contains news we can use in our everyday life because it is factual and reliable news brought down to man by the Holy Spirit of God, and thus has been safeguarded from human error (2 Peter 1:20-21).

All that's left for us to do, is to share this "good news" (Acts 13:26-39 NIV) with others who find themselves in the quagmire of sin (Romans 3:9-11,23), and do it "today" (2 Corinthians 6:1-2 NLT).
