As we remember what happened at Pearl Harbor on this day (see article), here is a human interest story worth remembering, honoring Joe George, a hero who risked his life to save the lives of six fellow sailors in the premeditated horrific attack.Beloved, let us always remember the selfless sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, both past and present, not only on this day, but every day, for without their sacrifice, we would not have the freedoms we now have and enjoy.
Regarding the ultimate sacrifice, I'm reminded of what our Lord stated in John 15:13 KJV:
"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
