Today, we are experiencing Friday the 13th (there is another one in December), which has long been associated with bad luck (see video).However, our Lord teaches us in Matthew 6:34 NASB, that “Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
So, it’s not just Friday the 13th that troublesome events happen, but every day has its own share.
Perhaps we need to think about the Lord’s blessings that He’s provided for us on various Friday the 13th days and not think about what events may or may not happen to us that may or may not be troublesome.
Rather, let us "trust in the Lord" to bring us “through” any troublesome events that might happen to us any day of the year (Proverbs 3:5-6; Psalm 23:4).
