As this writer watched this above titled BBC video regarding a solution to loneliness in Sweden, I thought, what a novel way of people coming together to help fix the world's problems. As the video states, loneliness effects both young and old alike.The beauty of young folks conversing and interacting with older folks, is that both benefit from their interaction (see here). The young can receive valued wisdom in listening to life experiences that older folks have gained in going through the school of hard knocks, plus their learning of invaluable past history (note Romans 15:4; 1 Corinthians 10:11 in context).
Young folks can teach the elderly about modern technology, i.e., how to use a computer, television, and other electronic devices in order for them to better manage the information flow of today's technology.
It's a win-win situation for both above groups as they help one another.
