Note the following inspired instructions:
1) Work for your employer with the same dedication and intensity "as if your were working for Christ" (vs. 5). Also note the principle in Ecclesiastes 9:10; cf. note the contrast in Deuteronomy 6:5; Jeremiah 48:10.
2) Do not work hard only when your employer is watching you, but as you would work for Christ/God, and perform the work "with all your heart" (vs. 6).
3) We are to "be happy" as we work, because as Christians, we are working for the Lord and "not for men" (vs.7).
4) Whatever good thing we do, the Lord will pay us for it (vs. 8; cf. Matthew 20:1-9 NLV), remembering the Lord will not tolerate idleness (see here).
What's the Bible solution for a lack of trust between employer and employee?
Working from home requires honesty (see here and here) resulting in trust (see here, here and here) between both employer and employee.
