After reading this article about the on-demand ordering of coffee and its delivery right to your office, I immediately thought, "Isn't this laziness personified?" Can we not make our own coffee?
Regarding laziness, the wise man Solomon wrote:
"The lazy man buries his hand in the dish, and will not even bring it to his mouth again" (Proverbs 19:24 NLV); and...... "The lazy man buries his hand in the dish. It makes him tired to bring it to his mouth again" (Proverbs 26:15 NLV).
Obviously, this lazy man was far too lazy to even feed himself.
In contrast, the Proverb writer was a big believer in industriousness and thrift (Proverbs 6:6-11; Proverbs 12;27; Proverbs 20:4; Proverbs 22:13; Proverbs 24:30-34; Proverbs 28:19; Proverbs 30:10-31 NLV).
I like what Chad said in his short comment under the above article:
"The best Coffee is always made by yourself."
Indeed it is, Chad ..... indeed it is!
