The following are some reachable goals that we as Christians can set for ourselves each day of our life:
- We can seek God’s kingdom first before any other priority (Matthew 6:33).
- We can use our time wisely (Ephesians 5:15-17).
- We can study our Bibles more (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV; cf. Psalm 1:1-2).
- We can have an encouraging word for others (2 Samuel 11:25; Acts 9:23-31).
- We can do a good deed for someone (Acts 10:38).
- We can choose not to live in the past (Philippians 3:13-15).
- We can choose to not complain about our circumstances (Numbers 11:1-6; Philippians 4:10-13).
- We can have a prayerful attitude (1 Thessalonians 5:17; cf. Acts 12:5; Ephesians 6:18).
- We can share ourselves with our family (Genesis 50:14-22).
- We can forgive those who have wronged us (Matthew 18:21-22; Colossians 3:12-13).
- We can refrain from hasty judgments (Matthew 7:1-5).
- We can go the second mile (Matthew 5:41).
- We can choose to live one day at a time (Matthew 6:34).
