"It Is Utterly Unreal"

While reading this article by author Alana Wise this morning, I happened to glance at the comment section under the article. Garry wrote the following comment (which has since been removed):

"It is utterly unreal that this country would even consider Hillary Clinton as a person worthy to be the President of the United States. This woman is the most arrogant ignorant rank liberal to run since Obama did on 2008. Haven't we as a country had enough of our country being degraded on every front? Obama pukes on our Constitution almost daily and Hillary has even less regard for it. She has committed treasonous acts in terms of our national security to begin with and should not be running for President but should be planning her defense for her court appearances. Any other person who violated our laws and abused her security clearance would already be indicted for what she did and the perjury she commits almost daily. She is an insult to our military and those who actually work to protect our national security. Wake up America while we still are America. I want better for my two daughters than a legacy of the destruction that Obama started and Hillary will continue to our heritage, our liberty and our country."

While I don't normally post political comment to my blog, I thought it worthwhile to post the above comment by an individual who is obviously concerned about the future of our once great country. The question is, are we as followers of Christ just as concerned?

Beloved, as Garry has expressed in his above comment, America needs to "wake up" to the fact that ungodly and immoral people are presently leading this country into economic and moral ruination. Do we really want to elect another individual as President of this country who has a proven track record of economic and moral failure the same track record as our present President?

There's an old saying that goes something like this: "If you keep doing the same thing, then you will keep getting the same results" (source). It is my firm belief that we desperately need to go down a "different road" with a presidential candidate who supports godly moral values.
