If we would read at a speed slow enough to be heard and understood, the reading time from Genesis to Revelation would be seventy-one hours.
If we break that reading time down into minutes and divide it into 365 days, we could read the entire Bible, cover to cover, in only twelve minutes a day.
Beloved, is this really too much time to spend reading about God and His beneficial will for us? (cf. Deuteronomy 6:24-25; Deuteronomy 10:12-13).
Let’s prayerfully think about it, and then start planning a daily regimen of twelve minute Bible reading (Ephesians 3:1-4; Acts 17:11), asking God to open our eyes to His truth (Psalm 119:18; John 17:17).
