Most folks are already familiar with one aspect of hell — the fire and brimstone aspect. But have we ever considered the aspect of having to spend an eternity with totally wicked people? (Genesis 6:5).Just think, hell will be full of liars, thieves, extortioners, murderers, rapists, child molesters, pedophiles, sexual perverts, and hypocrites. Plus, look at the lists in Romans 1:29-31; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galations 5:19-21; Ephesians 5:3-5; 1 Timothy 1:9-10; Revelation 21:8; Revelation 22:15 NET, and then ask ourselves this question: Would we really want to live with folks with these listed characteristics for an endless eternity?
Wouldn't we rather live eternally with the faithful folks listed in Romans 16:1-15; Hebrews 11, along with the prophets, apostles, and all other faithful people since the beginning of time?
Wouldn't we rather live eternally in heaven with those who "walked with God"?
This writer would certainly prefer to do so.
Beloved, let us seriously think about the above thoughts, and then make any necessary corrections in our living and lifestyle.
