In reading Ramnath Subramanian's latest article, my eyes focused on his above statement. Regarding the deplorable condition our nation's educational system finds itself in, Ram writes:Mediocre education weakens the country, and that is its biggest shortcoming. It poses a significant threat, because people who are ill-informed and cannot think for themselves act as catalysts to advance the ambitions of power-grabbing politicians and corrupt corporations.Is it any wonder our education system never gets fixed. Excessive smartness will denude corruption of all its wealth.
Another strategy deployed by corruption's soldiers is to keep the citizens constantly distracted and agitated so no one pays any mind to the salient issues facing the country. Political divisiveness gets that job done. Keep the people fighting against each other and no one will notice the movements of the snake to the throne.
Another strategy is to paint a picture of the world in eternal chaos, urgently in need of governmental intervention. Chaos distracts the mind; eternal chaos loses the mind.
Responding to Ram's last above paragraph, the world in "eternal chaos" (of which the devil is its author - (Revelation 12:7-12 NET), cannot be fixed by governmental intervention. Only by God's intervention, i.e., the God of order and power (1 Corinthians 14:32-33 NET), will chaos become a destitute entity in the world we live in.
