Prayers go up to the God of all comfort for families of loved ones who were either killed or hurt in the recent Las Vegas concert attack.Quoting from the apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4:
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
Heavenly Father, may those families affected by the above event, not only be comforted by Your love, grace, and mercy, but know that You will never leave or forsake them (Hebrews 13:5-6; cf. Psalm 27) during this time of tragedy and great loss.
And may we as citizens of this once great nation, be willing to humble ourselves (2 Chronicles 7:13-14) in the doing of your will (Ephesians 5:11-17), getting back to the Bible, to You, and to moral sanity.
And last, but certainly not least, may You provide our nation with a spiritual revival "for our good always" in Jesus' name, this writer humbly asks, Amen and Amen!
