How Can You Become An Outstanding Role Model?

Award winning author, Frank Sonnenberg (here is his online blog), has recently written this article in which he asks the above titled question.

Mr. Sonnenberg then lists the following twelve ways in which we can become outstanding role models (I have included pertinent scriptures and article links).

• Set the bar high.
• Inspire others.
• Look in the mirror.
• Stand for something.
• Walk the talk.
• Integrity matters.
• Be respectful - see article (Matthew 7:12 NET).
• Believe in yourself.
• Hold people accountable.
• Nobody's perfect.
• You're judged by the company you keep.
• Your soul is not for sale.

Mr. Sonnenberg closes his good article by providing us with the following words of wisdom:

"Every time you point someone in the right direction, you’re not only making a distinctive contribution to his or her life . . . you’re passing the torch to someone who’ll likely pay it forward. Although it’s very difficult to change the whole world, we can at least change the world around us. Your actions today represent the future for our kids. Remember, little footsteps in the sand usually follow larger ones, so watch where you step."
