In Hebrews 9:27, the Hebrew writer provides us with an inspired testimony to our future earthly demise backed up with this biblical illustration. Evidence of these truths, can be found in any cemetery (see here and here). Because of sin (see here), we are destined to physically die (Romans 3:21-23; 6:23).
Having the above knowledge, this writer has found an interesting website called, "findagrave.com," where an individual can locate the grave site of practically any departed relative or friend.
For example, I found my late wife here; my father and mother here and here; my grandfather and grandmother here; my great-grandfather and great-grandmother here; and my recently departed aunt here.
Beloved, the point to all of the above, is that death plays no favorites; shows no partiality (see here); and in reality ...... death doesn't care (see here).
So, what do we do in preparation for our earthly demise?
1) As God told King Hezekiah, set our house in order.
2) Live our lives for God and His Son, Jesus Christ (see here), for "only what's done for Christ will last" (see here).
