As another New Year looms near, we need to recognize that it will be exactly what we choose it to be. Therefore, let us choose it to be:
1) A more productive year — achieving more for the Lord's church, the good of our family, and mankind in general (Galations 6:10).
2) A more giving year — our willingness to help others less fortunate (1 John 3:17-18).
3) A more caring year — caring about the spiritual well-being of others (Philippians 2:1-4 NLT).
4) A more prayerful year — praying for others (Philippians 1:3-6; Colossians 1:3-4; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3; 2 Thessalonians 1:3-4) as well as our nation's future.
5) A more loving year — loving our neighbor and fellow man (Luke 10:25-37).
Beloved, let's "choose" to make New Year - 2020 the best ever!
