"Blown Out Of Proportion"?

As I was reading this USA Today article regarding Michigan State Senator, Peter Lucido's remarks in telling a female reporter that "she should stick around at the Capitol because a group of high school students from an all boys school, touring the Capitol, could “have a lot of fun” with her."

Senator Lucido said he was "not talking about anything sexual" but was "geeked up about the boys coming there," and "I was there to have some fun."

"It was blown out of proportion" he said.

Perhaps Senator Lucido should familiarize himself with the following two Scriptures from Proverbs and put them into practice regarding the use of his tongue:

Proverbs 6:2: "You are snared by the words of your mouth; You are taken by the words of your mouth."
Proverbs 10:19: "In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise."

And last but certainly not least, “He who keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble.” (Proverbs 21:23.

Beloved, trouble is not difficult to find!
