Presidential Debate And The Reaction Of The World's Media

 The above heading (see BBC News article) can be answered in the following manner: We (America) are the laughing stock of the world.

Or as the Times in the UK wrote: "The clearest loser from the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden was America" (see article).

This writer's assessment is that the first debate (I did not watch it but read the news media results) was just another sad day in the steady decline of our once great nation (see here). Both President Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden reminded me of two third graders arguing on a school playground as to who is going to acquire the most marbles in a marble game.

Needless to say, the reaction of the world's media was mostly negative in nature.
