"You Might Be Confused, But God Is Not"

As I read this article about President Trump revoking President Obama's mandate, compelling our nation's public schools to permit restroom and locker room access on the basis of gender identity, my eyes fell on what the author of the article (Daniel John Sobieski) stated in his first paragraph:

"Let me be so indelicate as to suggest that the issue is common sense simple -- where you pee ought to be determined by what you pee with. Period. This nonsense about self-identifying as a woman so a man can use the same restroom as someone else’s daughter is just that -- nonsense. Just as it is nonsense about the Almighty putting you in the wrong body. You might be confused, but God is not. Male and female He created them and I’m quite sure He knew the difference."

No, Mr. Sobieski, God is definitely not confused (1 Corinthians 14:33), and He does know the difference between male and female (Matthew 19:3-4; cf. Genesis 1:27; Genesis 5:2; Mark 10:2-9). The problem is that those folks who suppress God's truth by their unrighteous behavior (Romans 1:18), have now digressed into professing themselves to be wise, and have literally become fools (Romans 1:21-22).
