Abstinence And Parental Teaching

In this RevealNews.org article regarding the Trump administration pulling the plug on teen pregnancy programs, the author of the article talks about various organizations teaching parents how to talk to middle school kids about delaying sexual activity.

Regarding the pulling of the plug, the first paragraph of the above article states: "The Trump administration has quietly axed $213.6 million in teen pregnancy prevention programs and research at more than 80 institutions around the country, including Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and Johns Hopkins University."

Can we even imagine the above cost to the hard working taxpayers of our nation in providing monies for doing all of the research and pregnancy prevention programs, when there is a simple solution to the problem. The question is, why do parents have to be "taught" in order to be able to talk to middle school kids about delaying sexual activity? Folks, teaching children in the household is the responsibility of both father and mother (Ephesians 6:4; Titus 2:4 NLT).

Until marriage, there is only one thing kids need to know: Abstain from any kind of sexual activity.  Why? Because abstinence is reasonable, being that it sanctifies us as being separate and apart from the world's evil influence (i.e., the dogs and the cats) and its worldly lusts (2 Corinthians 6:13-18; 1 John 2:15-17 NLT). Abstinence is the only "safe sexual activity" that needs to be taught by concerned parents to their children at an appropriate learning age and stage of their physical growth and development (and they don't need to undergo any psychobabble!).

In shooting straight from the hip Texas English (and a little bit of common sense), the following information is all kids need to know from the teaching of their parents regarding any possible sexual activity: (1) Young ladies, keep your legs closed! (see video) and covered; (2) Young men, keep your zipper zipped up!; and (3) Make a covenant with your eyes!

Beloved, following God's word just saved the American taxpayer $213.6 million dollars and God will receive all of the glory (Matthew 5:16) -- not any human operated organization or the Federal Government. See how simple life is! (that is if we make it simple!).
