Not All Men Are Sexual Predators

After reading this New York Times article, and this Christian Post article, one would think that all men are nothing more than sexual predators. In past years, the Hollywood crowd has portrayed men as nothing more than sex-crazed bumbling idiots, thinking only about sports, booze, and wild-and-woolly women.

For example, in the 1987 - 1997 sitcom, Married With Children, the key characters are portrayed as mostly dysfunctional, with the father figure (Al Bundy), being portrayed as the above description of men indicates. In the above Christian Post article, author Audrey Barrick quotes Diane Passno, a once proud feminist, who today has a different view of feminists and feminism states:

"Feminism today, can be defined as having two foundational issues. One obvious one is abortion. The other one less understood is essentially the rejection of men. What the feminist movement has done is it's gone from wanting equality with men to being a movement that doesn't think that men are really necessary at all" (see video).

This writer has always had the utmost respect for women, even those who do not respect themselves (also, see article on Today's Woman). My late grandmother and mother, were the epitome of the virtuous description of womanhood found in Proverbs 31:10-31 NLT.

Beloved, contrary to the liberal news media (see American Thinker article) and popular feminist belief (see God's assigned role for women), not all men are sexual predators. In fact, the Christian men that I know (and I know quite a few of them), fit the description found in Psalm 112, i.e.,  God's "Good Man" ..... and are responsible fathers, training their children in "the nurture and admonition of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4), successfully dwelling with their wives.
