"When You Read, You May Understand"

In Ephesians 3:1-4, the inspired writer, Paul, pens the following to the saints at Ephesus: "For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles — if indeed you have heard of the [a]dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you, how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)."

The "mystery" that Paul refers to in the above statements, refers to the gospel of Christ (Ephesians 3:5-6). Thus, to fully "understand" this mystery, one must first "read" the gospel of Christ. In fact, we must "read" the totality of the Bible (see here) in order to fully "understand" the creation of man, the universe and man's purpose on this celestial globe called "earth" (Genesis 1:26-28; Isaiah 42:5-6; 43:7).

So, when I read articles promoting the highly subjective "theory" of evolution, such as in this Gismodo.com article, this writer shudders to think how many gullible people will believe the nonsense presented regarding the findings and conclusions of a "team of international experts led by Eleanor Scerri from Oxford’s School of Archaeology." Folks, here is a good definition of what the word "expert" (tongue-in-cheek) means. Also note that in the above article, the word "evolution" is mentioned ten times, whereas the word "Bible" is mentioned zero times. In other words, these so-called "experts" did not look at the Bible or Bible history at all to come to their conclusions. Thus, their conclusions are "skewed."

In the above article, the statement is made that "In the 1980s, scientists learned that all humans living today are descended from a woman, dubbed “Mitochondrial Eve,” who lived in Africa between 150,000 to 200,000 years ago." Contrary to this Eve, the only "Eve" mentioned in the Bible is first found in Genesis 3:20, where Adam named his wife, because she was "the mother of all living." This "Mitochrondrial Eve" is not once mentioned in the Bible.

The Bible plainly tells us that the earth is only a few thousand years old (note the generations mentioned here), not multiple thousands of years old as the above article indicates. In order to not be "tossed to an fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men" (Ephesians 4:11-14), we must be willing to "read" and "study" the inspired Scriptures on a "daily" basis (Ephesians 3:1-4; 2 Timothy 2:15; Acts 17:10-11 KJV), in order for us to properly "understand" what God's objective will is for us (Ephesians 5:13-17; cf. Ephesians 3:4).
